Babs & Nigel tie the knot in their home town!

It was just like a summers day as local couple Babs and Nigel married at St. Brannocks Church earlier this month. The bride and groom who both run businesses in Braunton were joined by close family and friends for the service before making their way to the Saunton Sands Hotel for the reception. They travelled to Saunton in a special Rolls Royce owned by a the bride's brother bearing the original surname of the family.

Sunshine & showers for Elizabeth & Richard's big day!

We were lucky with the weather again this week as Elizabeth and Richard married at St. Brannocks Church, Braunton. The bridesmaids were dressed in cerise pink and the colour theme was carried through to the reception which was held at The Saunton Sands Hotel. After group pictures at the Church everyone made the short trip to Saunton for a few more photographs before the afternoon and early evening celebrations got underway. I returned later in the evening and took the couple back outside in the gale force winds for some more photgraphs with Saunton beach providing a dramatic backdrop just as the the sun set. Elizabeth and Richard are honeymooning in the USA.

A Horse & Carriage for Ellen & Tom

On a day of sunshine and showers local farmers Ellen and Tom married at Rose Ash Church, Bishops Nympton. Photographs were taken at home with the close family and dogs, before Ellen left for Church in a magnificent carriage drawn by four white horses. After the ceremony I photographed the groups outside then took the bride and groom back inside the Church for some more photos using the natural light provided by the stained glass windows. On the way back to the bride's parent's home where a marquee had been erected for the reception, we stopped in a nearby field and I photographed the couple in the horse and carriage using the view of Exmoor as a backdrop. Ellen and Tom have just returned from their honeymoon which was spent in Spain.

Anouska & Michael marry at Tawstock

Tawstock Church was the venue for marriage of Anouska and Michael at the beginning of the month. Although the couple now live and work in Wells, they decided to come back to North Devon for their wedding and were joined by all their family and friends. After the service and some photos outside the Church everyone made their way to the Yeoldon House Hotel, Bideford for the reception and further photographs in the beautiful gardens. I was invited stay for the rest of the day and after the meal I took the bride and groom to Woolacombe beach for some romantic shots which was particularly significant as it is where Michael proposed to Anouska two years ago. The happy couple are spending their honeymoon on a mini world tour and will back in the country again at the beginning of October.

Welsh couple choose Sandy Cove for wedding destination!

Nicky and Andy brought their family and friends across the water from Wales to celebrate their wedding which took place earlier this month. The bride and her attendants got ready at the Sandy Cove Hotel before making their way to the nearby Berrynarbour Parish Church for the wedding ceremony in a white limousine. After group photographs outside the church the happy couple left for Watermouth Cove in a vintage car for some romantic shots using the castle and grounds as a stunning backdrop before returning to the Sandy Cove Hotel for the wedding reception. After a few more photos in and around the beautiful gardens of the hotel the wedding party made their way inside for their meal which was later followed by an evening party.

Liz & Dan sizzle in the Saunton sun!

Local sweethearts Liz and Dan married earlier this month on one of the hottest days of the year so far. After the civil ceremony all the guests spilled outside to the gardens overlooking the beach for group photographs followed by drinks. I took the bride and groom down to the beach for some romantic shots in and around the rocks with waves crashing in the background. After the photographs on the beach Liz and Dan rejoined the rest of their guests for the wedding reception followed by an evening party. The honeymoon was spent in Chamonix, France.

A rainy day for Victoria & Jordan's wedding

The rain didn't spoil the day for Victoria and Jordan as they married at the Broomhill Art Hotel earlier in the month. After the civil ceremony we braved the rather soggy conditions and headed out into the grounds for photographs around the sculptures while the guests started to enjoy the reception inside the Hotel. The couple took no chances with their honeymoon as they headed off to Spain and some guaranteed sunshine for a two week holiday.

The weather didn't disappoint earlier this month as Katrina and Simon tied the knot at Fremington Church. After photographing the guests outside the church we went to the nearby Fremington Manor to take shots of the happy couple. Everyone then made their way to the Sandy Cove Hotel for the reception where I photographed the bride and groom using the stunning scenery as a backdrop. In the evening I returned to the Hotel and we went down to Watermouth Castle/Cove to take some more photographs of Katrina and Simon to round off a lovely day. The honeymoon was spent in Cyprus.

Claire & Jonathan marry at Pilton

Local couple Claire and Jonathan chose the bank holiday weekend for their wedding at the end of May. The weather was a little damp so after photographing the bride inside at her parents home in Pilton we made the short trip to the church just down the road. After the wedding ceremony I took some lovely shots of the couple in the church yard by the old lamp then everyone made their way to the Rotary Gardens for the group photos. The reception and evening party was held at the Barnstaple Hotel followed by a honeymoon in Cornwall.

Shirwell Parish Church was the setting for the marriage of Catherine and Tim earlier this month. Despite the rather overcast weather, I photographed the bride with her parents and attendants at home before making our way to the church. After the ceremony everyone made their way back to the bride's home where a marquee had been set up for the reception and following evening party. Tim surprised Catherine earlier in the day by finally revealing the honeymoon destination which was to be the Maldives.

A Guildhall wedding for Jenny & Matthew

The Guildhall in the centre of town was the magnificent setting for the marriage of Jenny and Matthew at the end of last month. After the the wedding ceremony we joined the rest of the guests at the Cedars Hotel for photographs in the grounds before the reception got underway. During the evening I took the bride and groom to Instow for some shots on the beach just before the sun went down. The couple spent their honeymoon in Mexico.

Crediton couple Charlotte and David married at the beginning of the month at the stunning Crediton Parish Church. The bride travelled the short distance from her parents home in a magnificent carriage drawn by two black horses wearing bright pink plumes which was the main colour theme of the wedding. After the ceremony we made our way to Padbook Park for the wedding reception and photographs in the beautiful grounds. The couple spent their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic.

Local couple Denise and Glen got married at Pilton Parish Church at the end of last month. After the ceremony we went to Watermouth Cove near Ilfracombe where the couple work, for some romantic shots at a few of their favourite spots including cave which provided a stunning backdrop for photographs. We then made our way back to join the waiting guests for the reception and evening party at the Barnstaple Hotel. The Honeymoon destination is Cuba.

The sun shone once again for my second consecutive wedding of the week as Vicki and Alex married at Pilton Church surrounded by family, friends and the local Brownie and Girl Guide packs! The couple are heavily involved with the church community and after the service tea and cakes were laid on the nearby church hall so everyone could celebrate the occasion together. The bridal party and guests all walked down Pilton street to the nearby Rotary gardens for the group photographs then took the bride and groom to Saunton for some romantic shots on the beach before returning to the Royal & Fortescue Hotel in Barnstaple for the reception.

The autumn sunshine came out last week as local couple Annette and Dan married at Horwood Church. Some of the bride's relations travelled all the way down from Scotland for the happy occasion. After the service I took some photos of Annette and Dan around the grounds of the church and the nearby countryside before moving on to the Barnstaple Hotel for the reception. The sunny weather had provided us with a glorious sunset so we went into town and used the local landmarks as a backdrop for some more photographs. The honeymoon is being spent in New York.

Sara & Dan marry at Castle Hill

Family and friends came together to celebrate with Sara and Dan as they married at the stunning Castle Hill, Filleigh a couple of weeks ago. The sun shone as the bride arrived in a stunning carriage pulled by two magnificent black horses. The bridesmaids dresses were a lovely daffodil yellow which complimented the bride's boquet beautifully. Sara and Dan were driven around the stunning grounds in the horse and carriage and we stopped off for photographs at 'Ugly Bridge' and other picturesque areas on the way.

A 'Western' themed reception for Claire & Andrew

Brushford Church held it's first wedding in 70 years when Claire and Andrew got married a couple of weeks ago. Close family members and friends attended the service before moving onto a rather special reception which was more like a summer village fete! Approximately 300 guests came the celebration and were invited to wear 'western' style clothes. There was lots of entertainment laid on outside the marquee - a bouncy castle, swings and games for the children and a bucking bronco for the adults. The weather was fine and everyone partied on well into the night!

Family fly in from South Africa for Anthea & Mark's Big Day!

The weather held out last weekend as Anthea and Mark married at Heanton Church. The bride and her family who originate from South Africa were joined by other family memebers who had flown in for the special occasion. Anthea's parents live next door to the church so it was just a short walk through the garden gate to get married! After a very emotional service and group pictures outside the church I took the bride and groom the beach near Morthoe for some romantic shots on the sands. We then joined the rest of the wedding party at The Sandy Cove Hotel for some more photos in the gardens before the reception got underway. The couple are moving to Dubai in the next week or so start a new life and to continue their careers as teachers.

The sun shone all day long for Donna and Matt as they married at Tawstock Church at the weekend. Just before the bride arrived the groom together with his best men and ushers had a quick game of football in the field beside the Church. After the service and group photos I took Donna and Matt to a lovely old wooden gate near Tawstock school for some dramatic romantic shots. A marquee had been set up on the family's land for the wedding reception and everyone was waiting outside for the couple as they arrived to join their guests for the Hog Roast Buffet. Celebrations went on well into the night and the bride and groom left for their honeymoon to Crete soon after.

Gemma & Mark marry at Lynton

Lynton Parish Church was the spectacular setting for Gemma & Mark's wedding at the beginning of July. The local couple were joined by family and friends for the service followed by group photographs outside the church. The wedding reception was held in a marquee in the gardens of the nearby Staghunters Hotel in Brendon.

The sun shone all day long as Tina and Wayne married at the Northcote manor Hotel recently. The civil cermony took place in the lovely conservatory ajoining the hotel followed by the reception in the main dining area. I took everyone outside for group photos before photographing the happy couple in and around the beautiful grounds, using the stunning views of the countryside beyond as a backdrop. Due to the very hot and sunny weather conditions the cream teas were served under the large tree in front of the hotel so that everyone could stay cool!

The Fox & Hounds Hotel, Eggesford was the setting for the marriage of Jon and Lucy a few weeks ago. The sun shone all day as guests gathered from as far away as Derby to join the happy couple for the civil ceremony at the country hotel. The group phots were taken in the stunning gardens then I took Jon and Lucy to the nearby woods for some romantic shots in amongst the beautifully lit trees. After drinks in the garden everyone made their way back into the hotel for the wedding reception which was later followed by and evening party. The couple are taking a belated honeymoon in August.

The Icelandic volcanic ash cloud has been causing havoc with our wedding couples again, this time with Tracey and Spencer from Weston-Super-Mare. They were due to fly to Cyprus together with a small group of family and friends to get married some weeks ago but due to fight problems they had to make drastic last minute changes. Luckily, The Northcote Manor Hotel were able to accomodate them last Friday and with just a week or so to go before the wedding they asked me to photograph the wedding for them. The weather didn't quite match up to that of Cyprus but everyone still had a wonderful time and as always there were lots of photo opportunities available in the beautiful gardens currently covered in spring flowers.

Sunshine was the order of the day again this weekend as Claire and Matthew married at All Saints, Winkleigh. The bride arrived at the church in a magnificent cream carriage drawn by two beautiful black horses and the groom arrived in a tractor! Two hundred guests attended the wedding and reception which was held at the Fox & Hounds Hotel, Eggesford. I took photographs of the happy couple in the hotel grounds and the nearby woods before returning them to their guests at the hotel for speeches outside followed by the wedding breakfast. The whole day was a great success but unfortunately due to the problems with flights out of the country, the honeymoon to Tunisia has had be postponed until November. However, Claire and Matthew spent a couple days in Torquay instead and were able to come and look at their wedding photographs a week earlier than expected!

Wedding Fayre is a great success!

The Saunton Sands Wedding Fayre which took place last Sunday was a huge success with three couples securing dates for their weddings at the show and two calling the following day to confirm dates. Unfortunately we had to turn away another booking for next year as it clashed with a date that had already been taken. Numbers attending the Fayre were down on last year due to The Fox & Hounds holding their event on the same day.

Paula and James marry by candle light

Dolton was the setting for an intimate wedding ceremony for Paula and James last Saturday. A handful of the couple's closest family members attended a candle-lit service before travelling to the exclusive Blagdon Manor near Launceston for the wedding reception. Paula and James travelled half way around the world to Australia for their honeymoon.

A Flypast for Lyn & David!

Rain didn't spoil the day for Lyn and David as they married at Heanton Church last Saturday. The groom who is in the RAF had organised a fly past by the rescue helicopter just as everyone was outside for the group shots. Unfortunately it started to rain quite heavily after that so I took the couple back inside the church for some photographs before leaving for the reception at the Barnstaple Hotel. Due to work commitments Lyn and David are delaying their honeymoon to Kenya until the new year.

Kim & Paul marry at Woolacombe

The Woolacombe Bay Hotel was the setting for the wedding of Kim and Paul last weekend. The couple who are both currently serving in the Navy were joined by family, friends and seven attendants for a civil ceremony before braving the elements for some photographs on the headland and beach. Despite the cold and windy weather conditions I photographed Kim running barefoot up and down the sand dunes and having a 'piggy back' along the beach before returning to the warmth and comfort of the hotel for the wedding reception.

Trash the Dress

Here are are few images from a 'Trash the Dress' I photographed in September. Clare and Kristian married at the Saunton Sands Hotel on 20th September and on the Sunday morning Clare got up early and met me on the beach for some shots in the sea. As she walked towards the water the bride was joined by her youngest bridesmaid and the couple's black labrador who also wanted to be in the photographs. After a couple of shots on a friend's surfboard I photographed Clare as she lay in the water completely.

Woolacombe was again the setting for my wedding last weekend as Rebecca and Stuart married at the Woolacombe Bay Hotel. The sun shone once more as the happy couple were joined by their closest family and friends who had travelled down from the West Midlands for the intimate celebration. After a civil ceremony, champagne and wedding cake were served on the Hotel lawns before I took the bride and groom down to the beach for some photographs at the water's edge. Rebecca decided that she wanted to get in the water so she put on her her pink boots and went for a paddle! Woolacombe has been the holiday destination for Rebecca and her family over the years and she came with Stuart for the very first time in 1996. No doubt they will be returning for many more years to come as this has now become a very special place for both of them.

The bride and her family who come from Wiltshire, have been spending their holidays in Woolacombe for many years so it seemed only natural for them to return for the wedding! After the civil ceremony and group photos I took the couple down to the beach and made the most of the glorious weather and stunning coastline for some some romantic shots of just the two of them. Sarah and Richard spent their honeymoon in Yorkshire and came back to Devon shortly after to choose the pictures for their storybook album.

Family and friends travelled down from the West Midlands to join Clare and Kristian as they married at the Saunton Sands Hotel on Saturday. The sun shone all day long for the happy couple and their guests as they made the most of the stunning location and glorious views. There was one extra special guest at the wedding and that was the couple's black labrador who spent as much time as she could running through the water at the nearby Saunton beach! As the sunny day drew to a close we were fortunate enough to be able to take advantage of a spectacular sunset and go down to the water's edge for some romantic shots next to the sea. The evening party was held at the nearby Sands Cafe Bar and celebrations went on well into the next morning. The bride was up bright and early the following morning for some more photos, something a little different this time. Keep a look out for a 'Trash the Dress' blog entry coming very soon.

A beautiful autumn day greeted family and friends as they gathered for Suzanna and James' wedding.

After the service and group photographs at Northam church I took the bride and groom to Westward Ho! for some dramatic shots on the pebble ridge. The reception was held in a marquee near Abbotsham and I managed to get a shot of the Suzanna and James with all their guests outside of it before the celebrations got into full swing. The happy couple are spending their honeymoon in South Africa.

The sun came out for Lucy and Stephen on Saturday as they married at Burrington Methodist Church. The bride accompanied by her father and attendants walked through the village to the church where the groom and guests eagerly awaited their arrival. The groom had been driven to the church on a tractor and after the service the happy couple left by the same means. As the guests made their way to the Thelbridge Cross Inn we stopped at a barley field on Burrington Beacon and then at a nearby stream for some romantic shots before rejoining everyone for the wedding reception. The honeymoon is being spent in Tunisia.

Plymtree, near Cullompton was the setting for the wedding of Alison and Rob at the weekend. The bride left home and made her way to the nearby St.John the Baptist church in a carriage drawn by two magnificent black horses. After the service everyone made their way back to home for the wedding reception which was to be held in a marquee in the grounds. Guests gathered in the lovely gardens at the front of the manor house for drinks before the reception got underway in the early evening.

St. Giles in the Wood was the setting for the marriage of Sarah and Nick at the weekend and the bride didn't have far to go as the church was right next door to her parent's home! After the service I photographed the bride and groom with their guests in the church grounds before taking the couple to a nearby field for some intimate, fun shots. Sarah and Nick joined their guests at the Cedars Hotel for the wedding reception and travelled there magnificent black Rolls Royce. The couple are spending their honeymoon in Corfu.

After the service the bridal party and guests all made their way across country to The Sandy Cove Hotel, Berrynarbour for the wedding reception. We made good use of the lovely gardens and stunning views for the photographs before retiring to the Hotel for the wedding breakfast, speeches and cutting of the cake. the evening reception was held in the magnificent marquee set within the grounds and everyone danced the night away until the early hours. The couple are honeymooning in Itlay visiting the romantic cities if Venice and Rome.

Despite heavy rain nothing could spoil Victoria and Steven's day as they married at the Saunton Sands Hotel last Saturday. Steven's family all travelled down from Liverpool together by bus to join Victoria's family and their friends for the special occasion. Aikido enthusiasts Victoria and Richard married at their local St. Mary the Virgin church at the weekend. The vicar and his wife who conducted the ceremony are also keen are followers of the marshal art and made a guard of honour as the bride and groom left the church. The wedding party all made their way down Pilton Street to the Rotary gardens for group photographs before making their way to the Fox & Hounds Hotel, Eggesford for the wedding reception. While the guests enjoyed drinks on the lawn I took Victoria and Richard to the nearby woods for some special shots just by themselves. Victoria's dress was unusually trimmed with shades of blue with a stunning bouquet to match. The happy couple are honeymooning in Egypt in July.

The Horn of Plenty near Tavistock was the venue for the marriage of Sarah and Mark just before Christmas. The couple's families and closest friends joined the celebrations at an
intimate gathering late on Monday afternoon. The colour theme was Christmas reds and greens all meticulously arranged by the bride on the morning of the wedding. Although it was dark by the end of the ceremony Sarah and Mark had especially requested nighttime photographs so that's exactly what what we did! The couple will be spending their honeymoon on safari in Africa later in the year.

Sarah & Carlos marry by candle light

Tawstock Church was the setting for the marriage of local girl Sarah and her Portuguese sweetheart Carlos at an intimate candle lit service just before Christmas. There were only nine guests present as the happy couple tied the knot late on Saturday afternoon. The wedding had to be delayed until 5.30pm (just in the nick of time according to church laws) as the groom's brother couldn't get an earlier flight into the country from Portugal. Special lanterns were let off into the night sky at the end of the service before mulled wine was served to the guests.

Sunshine was the order of the day at Polhawn Fort near Torpoint last Wednesday as family and friends travelled to South Devon for the marriage of Natalie and David. The civil ceremony took place in the magnificent fort overlooking the sea with stunning views for miles around, a photographer's paradise. There were two extra special guests at the wedding - David's parent's dogs looking resplendent in their white bow ties. The couple together with close family members stayed at the Fort for a few days after the wedding as a mini honeymoon with a difference!

Rain did not dampen the spirits of the guests at the wedding of local Crediton couple Rebecca and Ryan last weekend. As the bride arrived in a horse drawn carriage, locals gathered to capture the first glimpse of her before she entered the magnificent Church of the Holy Cross. After the service I photographed groups outside the church and I managed to take a few shots of the bride and groom in the horse and carriage, the heavens opened and the couple transferred to a vintage car for the long trip to The Sandy Cove Hotel. Unfortunately the weather conditions were too bad for me to take advantage of the stunning views but the hotel and marquee were beautifully decorated with the centre piece of each table piled high with sweets!

As the wet summer draws to a close, weddings continue right through to Christmas again this year. Despite the continuing gloomy news regarding the recession, bookings for 2009/10 are looking very good and over the past couple of weeks dates for next year have been snapped up on almost a daily basis. I am currently talking with a couple getting married at Saunton Sands next September who want a three day coverage. The groom wants photos surfing with his friends on the Friday, the next day it's the actual wedding and then the bride wants to 'trash the dress' in the sea on Sunday - sounds like great fun!

Family and friends from various parts of the country joined the happy couple as they married in the local church, followed by a trip in the cable car down to the beautiful village of Lynmouth. It was like a summers day on Friday as Katherine and Ben married at the Saunton Sands Hotel. Frithelstock Church was the setting for the marriage of Sam and Vicki on Saturday and despite torrential rain all day a wonderful time was had by all. All photographs of the bride with her parents and bridesmaids were taken at Vicki's parents home before the service. Special pink umbrellas had been bought especially for the occasion and were put into good use all day long! Group photos were taken inside the church before moving on to the reception venue, a beautifully decorated marquee inside Langtree Village Hall. Just before we left for the reception we manged to capture a few shots around the Priory ruins near the church, the only photographs to be taken outside all day.

After a long drive down to Dartmouth and back on Thursday evening in torrential rain and wind to see Christina and Tony about their wedding on Saturday, it was a lovely surprise to drive down two days later in the blazing Sunshine!

Christina arrived at the little Parish church of Blackawton near Dartmouth on a tractor and trailer. Most of the village turned out to greet the happy couple after the service, in which the vicar inadvertently tried to marry Christina to the bestman! Many of the guests where transported to the reception venue in a 1940's bus, where on their arrival they were greeted with a cream tea.

We went down to the beautiful Hope Cove, which was only a mile or so away from the reception venue, to capture some photos of Christina and Tony with holiday makers and locals alike looking on and enjoying the spectacle!

The groom's family and friends travelled across the channel, to join the celebrations on scorching summer's day in the beautiful Devon countryside. After the service I took Sarah & Alain into the woods at Eggesford for some photographs before returning to the couple's home for the reception which was taking place in a marquee in their grounds. Despite the torrential rainfall during the week the fine weather returned just in time as the couple married in the local church. The sun shone all day for the happy couple as they married at their local church before making their way to the High Bullen Hotel for the wedding reception. It was the perfect venue for Lee, a keen golfer, who had specially requested that some photographs be taken with his new wife in and around the golf course!

A wedding in the middle of Dartmoor

Rural Dartmoor was the setting for the wedding of Helen and Mark at the weekend. Family and friends flew in from around the world as the couple married at St. Paul's Church Yelverton followed by the reception at the magnificent Two Bridges Hotel near Princetown. Despite the stormy weather conditions, we made the most of the countryside with the famous Tors providing a backdrop for some dramatic shots in and around the stoneage bridges and pathways.

A splash of colour at Pilton Church

It was a very special day for Sarah and Martin on Saturday as they married at the church which they helped to restore. The beautiful church at Pilton Barnstaple, was threatened with closure last year as the porch had become unsafe. Sarah was determined to get married there so set about raising the £40,000 needed for the repairs. In just over a year the renovations had been completed and Sarah's dream came true!

The bride arrived at the church in the couple's colourful 30 year old camper van and bright colours were the theme for the day from then on. After the church service the bridal party gathered at The Woolacombe Bay Hotel for the wedding reception which had a Halloween/Cartoon theme adding yet more colour to a spectacular wedding day.

Local rugby star marries at Woolacombe

Well known rugby player Jeremy Chugg married his sweetheart, the club physio Quita Westcott at the weekend. The Woolacombe Bay Hotel was the venue for the marriage ceremony and reception on a scorching hot spring day. Guests spilled out into the hotel grounds and later the swimming pool as temperatures soared into the 80's. Later, I took the bride and groom down to the beach for some relaxed shots while some of the guests had an impromptu game of rugby on the lawn!

Family affair at Northcote on Sunday

The third wedding of the weekend saw me at Northcote Manor again for the marriage of Jayne and Barry. It was an intimate affair attended by only very close family. I photographed the couple around the beautiful lake and bridge before the small wedding party enjoyed a lovely meal in the Hotel.

Laura and Ricardo chose the Cedars Lodge for their civil wedding, the first of three weddings that I photographed this weekend. Although we had some showers the weather held up which enabled us to make the most of the gardens around the hotel where I took some special shots of the happy couple. After the reception I returned to find the bride and groom bouncing around on the bouncy castle which had been erected for everyone to enjoy.

Sunny day at Croyde again!

Exactly a year to the day, I was back at Croyde Bay Holiday Park to photograph the wedding of Lorraine and Robert. The sun shone just as it did twelve months ago as family and friends joined the happy couple as they married by way of a civil ceremony followed by photographs on Croyde beach and a reception back at the holiday park.

The magnificent city of Bath was the setting for the wedding of Melissa and Robert at the weekend. Despite the bad weather conditions family and friends congregated at the Assembly Rooms where the civil ceremony took place followed by refreshment and speeches. The bridal party then made their way to the Roman Baths to continue the celebrations with drinks served around the famous baths followed by the reception in the Pump Room.

Karen and Simon were joined by close family and friends as they married at the Watersmeet Hotel in the tiny village of Mortehoe.
Despite the rather stormy weather conditions, everyone had a lovely day and we made the most of the hotel by taking some relaxed shots of the bride and groom beside the pool and on the balcony. As the happy couple flew off to warmer climates for their honeymoon, more celebrations began as it was Simon's birthday!

Sabrina & Stephen marry at Oakford

The picturesque village of Oakford was the setting for the wedding of Sabrina & Stephen on Saturday 23rd February. After the wedding service at the local church the happy couple walked through the village for some photographs which they wanted taken outside of their new cottage. Everyone then made their way to the Northcote Manor Hotel for the wedding reception where I took some more shots of the bride and groom in the beautiful grounds before the heavens opened. Sabrina and Stephen spent their honeymoon travelling around the Rocky Mountains in Canada - lucky them!

New Updated Shopping Cart on the Wedding Photography Site

As from the start of Febuary, we have launched a new and faster Shopping Cart, this will enable all family and friends of all our bride & grooms, to view all of the images of the wedding, a lot quicker than the older shopping cart that we used to use.

The ordering sytem has also been changed, which makes it a lot faster and easier for everybody. I would just like to thank James for all his hard work behind the scenes in writing and getting it all to work.

We as in Helen and I have also started a new blog for the portrait side of the business, which will be a exciting new venture, together with moving back down to the studio full time, we are in the process of refebishing the reception and workroom, with the studio next, photo's to follow soon.
