Amelie came to the studio with her Mummy and Daddy for her second portrait this year. Catherine and Sebastine decided that they would like some more natural shots this time around.

First Family Portrait
Earlier this week Mr & Mrs Fordham brought their young daughter into the studio for a family portrait. The sitting was a gift from one of Mrs Fordham's former pupils.

Kate & Andrew relax in the sculpture gardens at Broomhill
Saturday 11th August 2007
Kate and Andrew married at the weekend and chose to combine very traditional with the very modern when it came to the venues for the day. The wedding service took place at the quaint St. Pater's Church
Tawstock nestled in the North Devon countryside. After the group, confetti shots etc. were taken outside we went back into the church for some more relaxed, atmospheric photographs involving the interior of the church.
We then moved on to something quite different at the Broomhill Art Hotel. We made the most of the magnificent sculptures in and around the gardens and lake, and took the opportunity to use the more unusual creations as a backdrop for some great shots.

A Sunday wedding in Bristol
Sunday 5th August
On the hottest day of the year so far I travelled to an exciting new venue in Bristol for the wedding of Victoria and Juergen. St. Anne's Church was the setting for the wedding ceremony, followed by a reception at the beautiful Priston Mill which is situated between Bristol and Bath.
Victoria and Juergen married almost a year to the day of their great friends Laura and Chris Merritt who I photographed at Tawstock Church last August.
Family and friends enjoyed a relaxing day in and around the grounds of the magnificent working water mill and we made the most of the setting for some really rustic and atmospheric shots of the bride and groom.

Rachael & Nick bring St Giles to a standstill!
Saturday 4th August 2007
Rachael and Nick got married in St. Giles last weekend exactly two years to the day that they booked me to photograph their wedding. It seemed as if everyone had come out to watch, as the whole village came to a complete standstill. Before we left the bride's home I took the Rachael in and around the farmyard for some special photographs.
After the wedding service at the local church we went into the fields
above the village for some photos showing the rural countryside setting at it's best. We then joined the rest of the guests back at the Fox & Hounds Hotel Eggesford for the reception.

The village turn out to celebrate with Clare & Richard
28th July 2007
Clare and Richard married at the Bradnich Baptist Chapel
at the weekend amongst friends, family and most of the village! The vicar officiating as the vows were taken was a close family friend who came out of retirement to take part in part of the service.
The wedding reception took place in a marquee overlooking the Bride's family home in Bradnich. During the group photographs we all sang Happy Birthday to Georgie, one of the bridesmaids who was celebrating her birthday on that day as well.
With all the photographs taken and the guests settled in the marquee the heavens opened and the rain started to come down once again!
